Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980 and is a singer/actress from the USA. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native, born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and father who was German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment at an early age. She was able to land her first acting role in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 at the time her mother enrolled to become an agent was also auditioned for TV and newspaper advertisements. Bell also began taking private acting classes at this time. Bell was in a role of minor importance without credit in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a member of the music and drama club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was performed by her high school and she took home the part as Dorothy. Bell was a student of musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell quit her studies in 2001 and assumed the role of Becky, a character from Tom Sawyer. The same year she appeared in Pootie Tang, but the sequence in which she played the role was removed. This meant that only her credit sequence exists. Bell played part of the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
