Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue ellis-taylor, actress, American stage and screen actress and producer. She is best known as an actress in films for her roles on the films Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) as well as The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in film, theater, and TV. Her acting career began in the theater. Later, she was a part of various television series in independent films, mainstream and movies. Her most well-known roles were as Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's huge The Book of Negroes. Both series received major praise from critics, and she also received a number of accolades. In 1995 she was the first actress to make her debut with The Tempest as Ariel. Her stage credits include The Broadway production of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is most well-known for her performances in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. Her work in television she's received praise for her part as a regular character on ABC's drama about cops High Incident.
